236 DEFOAMER
PRODUCT INFORMATION
KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER is a silicone emulsion antifoam for controlling and preventing foam in cooling tower systems, evaporative condensers, ornamental fountains and other applications where foam can be a problem.
KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER is recommended for preventing foam during acid descaling or when algaecides and microbiocides are added to a system. This product is not affected by temperature and can be used in either hot or cold-water applications.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
A Foaming condition will normally develop in the recirculating water of a cooling tower or evaporative condenser when an acid descaler is used. Add 10 to 12 fluid ounces of KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER for each 1000 gallons of recirculating water to break the foam. Use this same dosage of KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER for other descaling jobs such as boilers, compressors, heat exchange and jacketed kettles, chiller.
PRECAUTIONS: KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER is not a hazardous material. As with all chemical products, personnel should handle with care.
KHEMIX 236 DEFOAMER is not intended for use in food products. Usage: Add minimum 200ml or more as needed to break the foam.
